HISTORY
The Cheltenham Football Club boasts a proud history spanning over 110 years. The club was of the most successul in the strong Federal league and has won 10 senior premierships with the last coming in 1995. In recent times the club has been a SFL Division One finalist the last three years and in 2008, was honored to become the first senior football club in Australia to receive the Gold Accreditation by AFL Victoria. FACILITIES
Cheltenham Football Club have some of the best facilities in the SFL. The facilities at Cheltenham Recreational Reserve underwent a major redevelopment prior to the 1995 season, this included doubling the size of the social rooms and new male and female toilets. Other facilities include a fully licensed bar, canteen, large home rooms, and more. Cheltenham Recreational Reserve itself is a good sized oval measuring 158 x 112 metres with a grass embankment surrounding the ground. 4 light towers illuminate the ground suitable for training and night matches. The ground is serviced by a sealed car park, while additional parking on match days is available on the embankment on the western side of the ground.
MATCH DAY
Senior home games at Jack Barker Oval are a great family experience with the Rosellas playing in front of some of the biggest and most vocal crowds in the SFL. The action commences off at 9:40am with the Colts followed by the Reserves at 12pm with the seniors kicking off at just after 2pm. The famous Cheltenham Luncheon commences at 12:30pm in the large social rooms which overlook the ground. Enjoy a great feed and drinks from the Bar while listening to a famous guest speaker. By the time the main game kicks off at 2pm. After the game, the social rooms are filled to capacity with the Bar serving beer, wine & spirits including Carlton Draught on tap. Match awards shortly follow and the Bar remains open until 8:00pm.

The traditional Cheltenham Football Club jumper is Black with Red and Yellow vertical panels.

VFL/AFL PLAYERS
The club has had 23 players that have gone on to play AFL/VFL football over the years. Former St Kilda champion Trevor Barker and Footscray Brownlow Medallist Peter Box are Cheltenham's most well known players, along with St Kilda's Full Back of the Century, Verdun Howell. [Click Here]
