Cole claims Seniors Club Champion award

Star rover Adam Cole capped off a fine second season at Weatherall Rd by claiming the club's senior best and fairest award at Presentation Night on Grand Final Eve.

Having joined the club in 2008 from Benalla, Dogga has proven to be one of the best midfielders in the competition and respresented the SFL in 2009 against Riddell, where he was among the best players on the ground. Cole outlasted perennial vote getter Mark Shalders and midfielder Tom Donnell to claim the award.

In the reserves, fellow Benalla recruit David Ferguson took out the award just ahead of youngster Chris Neophitou and ruckman Michael Falconer.
